How to download a RedGIFs video
Three steps, no account, and nothing to install. It works the same on a phone as on a desktop.
On a phone
- Open the post in the RedGIFs app or your mobile browser, then tap share and copy the link.
- Come back here, tap Paste, then Get file.
- Choose a quality and tap Download. On iPhone the file lands in Files, on Android in your Downloads folder.
On a desktop
- Copy the address from your browser's address bar.
- Paste it into the box on the home page and press Enter.
- Pick a quality and click Download.
Several links at once
Paste up to 25 addresses, one per line. Each is resolved separately and gets its own download button, so one dead link does not spoil the rest.
Which quality should you pick?
HD is the largest file RedGIFs holds for that post. SD is noticeably smaller and fine on a phone. Not every post carries every option — the dropdown only lists what actually exists.
Where the file comes from
Your browser asks RedGIFs for the file address, then downloads from their servers directly. This site is never in the middle: it stores nothing, caches nothing, and forwards nothing.
