Do I need an account?
No. There is no signup, no login, and no email address required. Saved links and followed creators are kept in your own browser, so they never reach a server here.
Where do my saved links go if I clear my browser?
They are gone. That is the trade for not having an account: nothing is stored on our side, so there is nothing to restore, and they do not follow you to another device.
Why can I not download a private post?
Private posts are readable only by their owner. RedGIFs refuses the request, so there is no file address for your browser to fetch. Nothing on this site can work around that.
Why does the quality dropdown change?
It lists only what RedGIFs actually holds for that post. Some have HD and SD, some carry a silent version, some have just one file. We show what exists rather than promising a tier that may not.
How many can I take at once?
Up to 25 in a single zip, with 10 as the comfortable default. The zip is assembled inside your browser, so the ceiling is your device's memory. Phones run out sooner than laptops.
Does this site store the videos?
No. Your browser reads the file address and downloads straight from the source. This site never receives, caches, or forwards a file.
Where do the preview images come from?
Straight from RedGIFs, not from us. Your browser loads each poster frame from their servers, so they see your address the same way they would if you opened the post there. Nothing is copied or stored here.
